Mozambique Activities
Mozambique is definitely becoming one of Southern Africa’s top holiday destinations. Having over 2500km of coastline by the Indian Ocean, including crystal clear water and white beaches where seashells come in all shapes and sizes; there is no reason why it shouldn’t be.
The waters have become the home ground for many of the water sports and activities including surfing, diving and fishing. Not only does Mozambican cater for the beach and sun loving tourists, but also gives the opportunity to visit animal reserves and national parks.
Diving
Mozambique can easily compete with the rest of the world for having the perfect diving locations - from our colourful reefs surrounded by the tropical fish; to the whale sharks, turtles and dolphins there is much to see under our clear blue waters. Not to mention the fantastic water climate all year around as the coastline lies towards the Indian Ocean.There are many different beaches along the coast to choose from to have the perfect diving experience. Ponta Do Ouro, Vilanculos and Inhambane regions seem to be the most popular destinations for the diving fanatics. One aspect all the destinations have in common is that the dive spots are not over commercialized making most of the many beaches paradise.
