Mozambique Activities
Mozambique is definitely becoming one of Southern Africa’s top holiday destinations. Having over 2500km of coastline by the Indian Ocean, including crystal clear water and white beaches where seashells come in all shapes and sizes; there is no reason why it shouldn’t be.
The waters have become the home ground for many of the water sports and activities including surfing, diving and fishing. Not only does Mozambican cater for the beach and sun loving tourists, but also gives the opportunity to visit animal reserves and national parks.
Events & Nightlife
The city of Maputo is well known for its dynamic nightlife, having many different events and concerts to attend throughout the year. The advertising for the different events or concerts are lacking in proper exposure so many of the times you have to research or ask a little before actually knowing what is going on in town. There are always the constant parties at the famous nightclub Coconuts Live, a very well run nightclub situated in front of the sea, our main stream cocktail bar on one of our main streets called Dolce Vita to something like Gil Vincent which offers live music on all nights of the week. Maputo`s nightlife can cater of all types and experiences.
The City of Maputo also hosts some great cultural centres such as the French Culture Centre that holds many art exhibitions and also host many concerts with national and international guests.
Always look out for the yearly great events such as Mozambique Jazz festival hosted once a year, where artists from all over the world come and share their love and joy for Jazz. This is an event not to miss.
