“Dunes de Dovela” is the perfect place to feel the energy emerging from the beauties of the mozambican coast. Located 80 kms south of Inhambane, we are geared up to welcome you single or accompanied.

You will reach « Dunes de Dovela » eco-lodge after a 12.5 kms of wonderful trail crossing several Chope villages. Diversity of the coastal forest, serenity from Dongane lagoon, charms from Indian Ocean are all gripping and unique atmospheres that we would love to share with you.

“Dunes de Dovela” wishes to host you in conditions meant to harmonize the satisfaction of your expectations with preservation of the Chope cultural and environmental heritage and offers individual attendance.

This eco-lodge results from a 4 years project based on strong human and ecological dimensions. Firstly, human because the lodge was entirely built with local people which involved heavy professional trainings. Today, about 50 people have acquired a good know-how and thus a job. This dynamic goes on as the lodge runs. Secondly, ecological as construction methods preserves the environment, building shapes melt into the landscape and local supplies are always preferred… the aim is to create a protected area for the conservation and the preservation of this unique natural environment.
